Hi, I am Athena, a passionate photographer, a stylist, a recipe developer, a story-teller. I like to tell my stories through my images, my blog and by 2018 through my first cook book.
Although, I have studied Interior design & commercial art in London at the American college and I have created plenty of dreamy spaces and layouts my passion for creation took me the paths of photography, especially food photography, the endless world of food styling and the naturally gifted habit of recipe development.
As a food photographer I have managed, to be a semi- finalist and in the highly commented gallery of the world’s most acclaimed and recognisable food photography competition of the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the year 2017 at the category BBC FRESH TALENT AWARDS 2017.
As a recipe developer I am in the process of creating my first cookbook | MERAKI | Cook it with passion | a 300 pages feast and 120 recipes to some unique yet traditional and renowned recipes from the Mediterranean and recipes that arisen from the endless hours I have spent in my kitchen, cooked with passion and presented with love.
Along all the above I have been behind the well-known food blog www.cinnamonspiceblog.com where I share my love and passion about food and recipes with you and I showcase my immense adoration for the art behind crafting incredible food plates and unique food styling.
Alongside my creations, my cookbook, my photography and competitions I squeeze in my routine, some very unique and special customers where I get to have the freedom of creativity and a chemistry that leads to ongoing relationships and why not friendships!
This is of course only by choice but in case you believe we have things in common, you like my work or you want to outstanding from the crowd, then don’t hesitate to contact me at any moment!
Further to all the above my immediate goal is to create small workshops for all the people who share the same passion as I do in a space that will transform those few hours into a fun time of creation and learning and further to that an exhibition of my photographs of the old town of Nicosia will be the ultimate goall for winter, 2017-2018.
